Yes! thats right, i have finally put together my own band, where i will be performing and writting the music i have always wanted to make. I have put together an amazing band whom are all incredible musiciands in there own right.

The Arthur Cook Band is a southern rock / country / blues band with hard hitting riffs and soulful melodies, if you havent checked us out - we are putting together a tour of the UK.

Developing on a theme as reguards my session work i have also been asked to play in the awesome ‘Della Slade band’, another formidable talent. Della’s music is country / pop and im very excited to finally see a resurgance of country music in the bath and bristol scene, as its one of my all time favourite genres.

The Della Slade band and I, are going on tour also in 2026 Aprill time, however this will be my first taste of touring in Europe, as we shall be tounring around her home in Gibraltar. Safe to say i have a busy 2026.

Recently, i have joined the Nicole George band as a session guitarist. Nicole is an RnB, Soul and jazz vocalist with songs that hit hard both on your heart strings and in musicallity, im very thankful to have been asked to join, as i love this sort of music.

im very excited to say that i will be going on tour with the band comencing in 2026, so stay tuned.

On the weekend of the 30th of August, i played a couple of sets in festival, with the very talented Molly Fletcher Hebden in Faversham, there was an amazing turn out and both the acoustic and electric set were received incredibly well.

Since being at university, as mentioned in my other news segment - I have really enjoyed exploring the role of being a session guitarist. I have been playing in many bands with varying genres and styles - both live and in the studio. I would love to explore it more outside the scope of university, so if you would like to get in contact with me don’t hesitate, to do so!

I have also uploaded all my solo work across all streaming platforms, so you can now check out ‘Getaway car’ , ‘Caution to the wind’ and my cover of ‘magnolia’ easier than before!!

Recently I have been studying at university, playing in many fantastic bands - both as an integrated band member and also session player. Many of which are going on tour around the UK, so if you would like to see me play, head over to my instagram and check out my tour dates.

In February earlier this year I recorded three songs for my debut EP at Yellow Shark Recording Studios, Cheltenham.

Two of these were originals, entitled ‘Getaway Car’ and ‘I Don’t Know About That’, with the final song being a cover of J.J. Cale’s ‘Magnolia’.

I’m back in Yellow Shark in Cheltenham working with Laurence Nelson on my new orignal song ‘Caution to the Wind’ - uploading soon!

Looking forward to Saturday 25th November in the Royal Chapel of All Saints, Windsor Great Park - here I shall be playing one of my original songs from my debut EP, ‘Getaway Car’, as well as John Mayer’s ‘Try’ and Bob Dylan’s ‘All Along The Watchtower’.
